Application of CAE for mold flow analysis in plastic molding mold design

Abstract In this paper, injection molding is used as a method of plastic molding, which in the molten state injected into closed mold cavity by compression, and material fills then cured cooling to maintain shape mold. The basic structural form parameters mold’s parting surface, winding system, system are determined flow analysis. CAE analysis move filling computer, casting system’s design scheme can be evaluated optimized according results. After Moldflow software warpage deformation, total deformation molded part was obtained, maximum reached 0.931mm, from uneven 0.192mm, shrinkage up 0.942mm, even larger than integrated had greater impact on final part. It has relatively large Therefore, using improve efficiency design, optimize mold, effectively quality reduce manufacturing cost. promotion its application line with development times promotes rapid field.
